PEACOCK ISLAND

Peacock island boat trip around 14 euros per person, pick up point is the harbour inbetween levante beach and poniente beach.
Boat trip takes about 20 minutes to get to the island ,when you arrived you can get on a glass bottom boat bit like a submarine for a quick trip around the island which is included in price. My 4 year old daughter really loved it, There is a little bar on the island where you can enjoy a drink or dinner whilst waiting for the boat to pick you back up.
At the end of the trip, you can purchase a dish with your photo on it for 10 euro.

HORSE RIDING

Never been on a horse until i arrived at benidorm, for about 32euros you can be picked up at your hotel then taken on a quick 10 minute trip to a ranch just outside benidrom.
Once at the ranch you will be  fitted with a helmet, and they will help you up onto the horse if you struggle at all, you will the begin a 45 minute stroll with a group of other riders, no riding experience needed.
Once back at the ranch you are givin the oppotunity to have a picture taken whilst on the horses.

ANIMAL SANCTUARY,GUADALEST, WATERFALLS DAY TRIP

The day trip to guadlest is in 3 stages, once the bus has picked you up at around 9am from your hotel you will visit an animal santuary,  from there you visit the village of guadalest, where you will find some
lovely shops, museums, an art gallery, and walks with a nice restaurant.
Finally on the afternoon you will visit spectacular waterfalls where you can go for a swim ( don't forget your bikini).

TERRA MITICA

Terra mitica is a fun day out for all, prices are around 32euro for adults and 24 euros for children. But look around for deals and tickets with money off. I usually get the bus for 1.20 euros, the buses travel to the park every 20 minutes.

Here you can find 4 fantastic worlds, Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Iberian all with wonderfull rides and great architecture.

DOWNHILL BIKE RIDE

A fantastic day out with dinner included, you can book this the downhill bike ride for about 30euro from any tourist rep or tourist office. This is a really great day out for all ages.It's a 24mile bike ride ( Don't be scared its really easy) but all downhill with lots of breaks.
You will be pick up at your hotel about 9.00am and taken to into the mountains about 30 minutes from Benidorm, after a drink you will be fitted with a mountain bike and saftey helment, all of the route is completley downhill, the 24 mile route is through little villages with very little traffic. If you do not wish to complete the route the mini bus that follows will pick you up and you can get on and off when ever you please.At the end of the day you will recieve a certificate and will be taken back to benidorm for around 4pm. A fantastic day out not to be missed.

FUN FAIR

The funfair can be found on Avenue Del Mediterraneo, a fantastic place for all the kids, open all day untill around 11.00pm

SAND CASTLES

Sand sculptures can be found on levante beach, everything from the simpsons, dragons, mermaids, horses and many more sculptures. Have your picture taken with one and chuck a few cents in the artists bucket.

BENIDORM BEACH

Benidorm's two beaches, playa de poniente and playa de levante are about 5 km long in total.
Playa Levante is the most popular of Benidorm's beaches with clear water, golden sand and next to hotels and nightlife.

JOKERS

Jokers nightclub one of my favourite clubs, also has foam parties on a sunday and thursday

THE DROP INN

Location

Nice little english bar, very nice staff ( they still won't tell me how they make there gravy), meals are very nice and very cheap drink.

FLIGHTS TO BENIDORM

I  book early every year with easyjet for flights to Alicante to get a good price.
I have never been delayed or had any sort of problem what so ever.
If travelling with children aged 5 or under you will have priority boarding.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

There are many bus companies there offer shuttle trips from alicante airport to benidorm with returns.
I personally have used resort hopper and travelrepublic for the past 7 years.
The local bus company Alsa runs buses direct from airport and return every hour.
Taxis are fairly expensive at around 60 euro for single trip from alicante airport to benidorm.
